Medan - FKM USU: The Campus Life Orientation for New Students (PKKMB) of the Undergraduate Program in Public Health at FKM USU was conducted smoothly over three days, from August 19–21, 2019, at FKM USU. The program included various sessions, such as National Defense, National Insight, The Role of Science and Technology in Shaping Students in the Digital Revolution of Industry 4.0, Tri Dharma of Higher Education, Introduction to Student Activity Units, and shaping students with Bintang Character. Additionally, students participated in group exercise, marching drills, and various games and competitions designed to foster creativity. In support of FKM USU’s commitment to reducing the use of plastic, students were required to bring tumblers and lunch boxes as part of the program. Three alumni—Paisal, SKM, M.Kes, Head of the Dumai City Health Office; Sony Efriandi, SKM, M.Kes from Jambi; and Selly Sitepu, SKM, M.Kes from Medan—attended the event to inspire the new students. They provided motivation and insights into career opportunities for public health graduates.
